Objectif

At the end of this training, the participant will be able to:

• to better understand the potentialities of outdoor education
• to fully engage in his/her outdoor learning practices

Durée

Contenu du cours

The content will be spread over the following modules:

• Introduction
• Outdoor and didactics
• Compliance (first aid, risk assessment)
• Outdoor and ethics (code of conduct)
• Outdoor and inclusion
• Outdoor and woodlands
• Outdoor in rural areas
• Outdoor and water environment
• Urban outdoor

For each module, the session structure will consist of:

• Video to introduce the theme
• Reading a paper
• Lecture presentation
• Practical transfer – guide and video
• Practical exercice at home
• Multiple choice test and evaluation of the submodule with feedback
• Additional reading

A forum will also be available to create a network of outdoor ECEC professionals across Europe.

At the end of the course, the participant will receive a course certificate upon completion of the modules.
